High Achievers

Success on the outside doesn't always feel like success on the inside.

At the end of the day, do you find yourself feeling tired, worn out, or wondering, "Why do I have to carry the weight of everything?" Maybe you've asked yourself, "Why don't I have time for the things I enjoy?" or "Am I even living the life I want?"

You might have a successful career, a high GPA, be dependable, and be the person everyone turns to, but underneath it all you're exhausted. You're constantly thinking about work, setting impossibly high expectations for yourself, or wondering why reaching the next goal never feels like enough. Burnout, perfectionism, anxiety, and self-doubt often hide behind success.

Therapy gives us a place to slow down, exhale, understand what's keeping you stuck, and build a life that feels just as meaningful as it looks from the outside. I'm not here to judge the life you want to live. I'm here to help you recognize what brings you peace, happiness, and balance, and then help you create a life that feels authentic to you.

Young Adulthood

Figuring out adulthood doesn't come with an instruction manual.

Ever find yourself asking, "What do I want to do with my life?" "Why does a 9-to-5 sound miserable?" "How does it seem like everyone else has their life together?" Or maybe it just feels like life has been giving toxic vibes lately.

Whether you're navigating college, starting your career, moving away from home, building relationships, or simply wondering who you are and who you want to become, you're not alone. Exploring life in your late teens and twenties can be fun, exciting, experimental, and full of possibilities. It can also feel intimidating, lonely, confusing, and overwhelming, sometimes all in the same week.

Young adulthood is full of transitions, and it's okay if you don't have everything figured out. Therapy provides a space to explore your identity, build confidence, become a boundary-setting boss (we love a good boundary), manage anxiety, and navigate change without feeling like you have to do it all alone.

I'll be right there alongside you as you figure out where you want to go, how you want to get there, learn to recognize red and green flags in relationships, and create a life that feels authentic to you. No blame. No shame. No judgment.

Breaking Stigma

Sometimes the hardest expectations to challenge are the ones we've carried for years.

Have you ever found yourself needing to cry but thinking, "Wait, I can't cry. That would show weakness." Have you apologized for having emotions? Wondered how your gender expression fits into the world? Felt like you weren't living up to traditional expectations? Or questioned whether something was wrong with you simply because you didn't agree with the messages or values you grew up with?

Many of us receive messages about who we're supposed to be and how we're supposed to handle life. We learn that asking for help is a weakness, that showing emotion is a weakness, that boys do this and girls do that, that success should always come before ourselves, or that we should simply push through because "everyone else is doing it."

For some, those messages sound like, "Be strong," "Handle it yourself," or "Don't let anyone see you struggle." For others, they sound like, "You have to make everyone else happy," "You need to be perfect," or even, "You can't wear that." No matter where those expectations come from, they can make it incredibly difficult to reach out, even when life feels overwhelming.

Therapy offers a space to step outside those expectations, better understand yourself, and decide what feels authentic to you rather than simply living the life you feel you're supposed to live. Together, we'll explore the messages you've received throughout your life and decide whether they still fit who you are today. We'll challenge stereotypes, create space for every emotion without judgment, and learn that while we can't always control how we feel, we can choose how we respond. Most importantly, we'll work toward giving yourself permission to be the person you've always been underneath everyone else's expectations.
